The Laser Diode Driver and Temperature Controller (LDTC) combines Wavelength Electronics' proprietary FL500 and highly stable WTC3243 in one compact module.

The compact LDTC

is easily mounted in your laser system, with latching connectors for easy manufacturing. The flexibility of the LDTC design allows the controller to be operated from a single power supply. The power supplies can also be separated, if your application requires higher compliance voltage.

Laser Diode Driver

The PLD Series Laser Diode Drivers deliver reliability and performance in a compact and easy-to-integrate package. Tens of thousands of PLD drivers are deployed in laser systems around the world, proving beyond doubt the reliability and stability of the design.

The PLD drivers operate from a single 5V power supply. To accommodate high compliance lasers, or multiple stacked lasers, the PLD laser diode drivers allow the laser to be driven from a separate power supply up to 30V.

Chassis-Mount Temperature Controller

The PTC-CH Series Chassis Mount Temperature Controllers deliver the precision performance and long-term reliability.

The PTC-CH controllers operate from a single power supply between 4.5V and 30V, and a selection of models allows you to optimise the current output level for your application. The linear bipolar controller drives a Peltier thermoelectric cooler or a resistive heater, and the chassis-mount package integrates easily into OEM

applications.

PCB-Mount Temperature Controller

The PTC Series PCB

-Mount Temperature Controllers are based on the long-proven PTC-CH controllers, and deliver stable performance and long-term reliability.

The PTC controllers operate from a single power supply between 5 V and 30 V, and two models drive ±5 amps or ±10 amps to a Peltier thermoelectric cooler or a resistive heater. These controllers mount directly to your circuit board. PTC controllers interface with a variety of temperature sensors, and the bias current is adjustable in order to maximise controller sensitivity and stability for your application.

Low-Noise QCL Driver

These low noise QCL

drivers have the lowest current noise density of any commercially available driver. Powering your QCL with this patented driver will enable better performance — at lower cost and in less time — than otherwise possible. This is the right driver for lasers that require a high-precision and ultra-low noise current source. The 500mA QCL laser driver exhibits noise performance of 0.4µA RMS to 100kHz, and an average current noise density of 1nA/vHz — the lowest available today.
