Uniform Source Integrating Spheres and Systems are the industry choice for the calibration and test of cameras and sensors ranging from optical detectors, and focal plane arrays to multi-spectral remote sensing systems.
The integrating sphere interiors are coated with the highly reflective and durable Spectraflect® coating from Labsphere. The mounting frame enables sphere height adjustment and rotation for the US-120 and the US-200 to position the exit port aperture in a vertical or horizontal plane.
Luminance/Radiance Uniform Light Source Systems are integrating sphere uniform light sources designed to accommodate a wide range of applications from night vision to remote sensing. Integrating spheres provide a near perfectly uniform source of radiance or irradiance for testing and calibrating telescopes, imaging detectors, photometers, radiometers and many electronic imaging devices.
Luminance/Radiance Systems are available in sphere sizes ranging from 100mm (4") to 2000mm (76"), each optimally designed with an output port diameter to provide luminance uniformity of ±1%. All systems are equipped with a light source assembly, variable attenuator, power supplies, detectors and operating software. The standard variable attenuator provided with all systems is a manually driven micrometre unit that allows for control of input light levels while keeping the spectral shape fixed. An automated variable attenuator and controller unit is available when more precise control of the light output level is required.
Luminance/Radiance Systems are calibrated for luminance and correlated colour temperature. Calibrations are traceable to national laboratory standards. Custom calibrations are available.
Send EnquiryTrulume® Camera Calibration Systems are engineered solid state light sources for consumer and industrial image sensor calibrations.
The CCS systems are a new kind of light metrology source that lets Smartphone OEMs and their Camera Module suppliers help each other create the next generation of image interactive products.
The CCS-1000 is engineered for the high performance requirements in the field of camera module production testing and calibration for image and colour quality. The source is engineered to easily mount in a production test station. The 75mm diameter window with >96% uniformity enables test and calibration over a large field of view with highly uniform illumination. With Labsphere's highly diffuse reflectance material, Spectralon® and engineered LED module, long term repeatability and reproducibility are ensured in the application environment.
Uniform light source systems can provide uniform radiance or irradiance, with applications that include the test and calibration of focal-plane arrays and cameras for areas such as pixel gain normalisation, photographic sensitometry, and remote-observation system calibration. Sources are used in the ultraviolet, visible, and near infrared regions of the spectrum.
