ARCoptix specialises in the realisation of optical system prototypes. They work with a broad range of customers, focusing on two unique spectrometer series. They also develop optical systems, mostly as an affordable alternative to expensive R&D systems or for non-lab environments, like watch making. They offer liquid crystal products and custom made micro-optical elements to Universities and R&D laboratories all over the world.
The SpectroSolar is a high quality, robust, USB powered, grating spectrometer optimised for measuring the spectral contents of pulsed (down to 1ms) and continuous solar simulators. Thanks to its double channel technology, it is capable to measure solar spectra with high accuracy (<5% error) over a spectral range going from 400nm to 1100nm (as defined by IEC) within 1ms. The device is ideal for measurement of solar flasher and features an optical trigger (combined with a programmable delay) for synchronisation with the flash lamps. The software ranks the simulator according to IEC classes. The spectrometer accuracy has been qualified by the Swiss Institute of metrology and by international comparison sun measurement session. SpectroSolar is the ideal tool for monitoring the solar simulators and so to ensure better quality insurance of the solar cells manufacturing process.
The FT-NIR Rocket is a fibred infrared scanning Fourier Transform Spectrometer (FTIR) sensitive in the NIR range. This fibred FTIR module combines robustness with compact design. Thanks to its solid state reference laser and its sealed self-compensated interferometer this new generation of NIR spectrometers requires minimal maintenance effort.
The FTNIR Rocket shows a high wavelength and intensity stability which makes the device suitable for reproducible chemiometrical analysis. Also the single photo-diode detection assures no defect pixels, no gain fluctuation and no dark current fluctuations and allows attractive pricing. Also the device does not suffer from second or third order ghost spectral contributions as grating spectrometers.
The 3rd generation FTIR module combines robustness with compact design. With a solid state reference laser and sealed self-compensated interferometer, this new generation of FTIR requires minimal maintenance effort. High sensitivity of the spectrometer is guaranteed by the Peltier cooled MCT detector.
These units have an embedded microprocessor with built-in digital signal processor, running a stand-alone OS. Reliable computer interfacing is made via Ethernet using a TCP/IP protocol or USB. With battery power, the FTIR module can be used as portable stand-alone system.
The FTIR module can be integrated with the adequate measurement module such as diffuse reflection, ATR, Transmission or white cell. Finally a compact robust and cost effective solution can be found for almost every application.
The Arcspectro HT is a static Fourier transform spectrometer (FTS) that is based on a licensed concept using the polarisation properties of the light and the optical properties of crystals. It provides a extremely high throughput (sensitivity) and does not need external optics to be used. The Arcspectro HT is ideal for the measurement of low light, diffuse reflection and also in fields like fluorescence or Raman spectroscopy.
ARCspectro HT is ideal for low light applications or for the spectral analysis of diffusing light sources (or samples). Its unique design permits to gather a maximum of light over a large diffusing surface (several millimetres) and over a large angle (±10°). This gives a tremendous throughput advantage (∼50x more) compared to the most powerful grating spectrometers (also well-known Jaquinot advantage) which are intrinsically limited by a small entrance slit (typically 0.025mm). This makes this unique device ideal for applications were small light intensities has to be analysed (fluorescence or Raman spectroscopy).
This compact, USB-powered lamp features a SMA 905 connector for easy coupling in optical fibres. Via fibres, the lamp can be connected to a sample holder, reflection probe or to an integration sphere. It features a smart power control for high lamp stability, a mechanical variable shutter for power output control and an integrated cuvette or filter holder. The USB-powering makes this lamp ideal for on the field spectral measurements.
