ProRaman-I Series Raman analysers are high performance Raman systems suitable for industrial on-line processing applications requiring a high sensitivity Raman instrument at an affordable price.

The ProRaman-I systems feature a 785nm frequency-stabilised laser, high sensitivity CCD spectrograph with CCD cooled to -60°C and a high throughput laboratory fibre optics probe. The system has 7 cm-1 spectral resolution with spectral coverage from 250 to 2,350cm-1.

RA100 Raman Analyser

The Renishaw RA100 is a compact Raman system for process monitoring and bulk material analysis. It enables in situ Raman monitoring in the laboratory, pilot plant, or process line.

RA100 Raman analysers are used in the hard disc industry for the quality control of diamond-like carbon (DLC) protective films. They are used with the DLC analyser station, which allows users to load and analyse hard disc platters close to the production line.

In this case, the Renishaw custom analysis program is pre-configured to analyse several positions on the disk and then output the results in an easy to interpret form (as a table, ratio, or simple 'pass' or 'fail').

These systems have enabled users to improve yield and dramatically cut costs.

  • Uses Renishaw data and user-interface standards so that current Raman microscope users can begin operating the RA100 with minimal training
  • Custom analysis program (CAP) enables solutions to be tailored to individual customers needs
  • Multi-library search capability allows spectral libraries to be grouped and searched together to give a very wide coverage
